Dr. Abby Jakob
Dr. Abby Jakob was born and raised in Kingsville, Ontario, and after spending eight years away at school, she was proud to return home to take care of your whole family's eye care needs.

Dr. Jakob graduated from Kingsville District High school, where she played basketball and soccer, volleyball, badminton and alto saxophone with the school's jazz band, which won a gold medal! Dr. Jakob speaks both English and French. She received a full-ride scholarship to play basketball at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where she earned a degree with Honours in Kinesiology. She then attended the Illinois College of Optometry where she graduated summa cum laude in May of 2014. Her proudest accomplishment from optometry school was being voted "Colleague of the Year" by her peers.

Dr. Jakob enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick and her new baby, Max, in her spare time! She enjoys getting together with family and close friends, going on the boat to Cedar Point, travelling, and playing with her cats and dog!

Dr. Jakob welcomed Baby Dal into her family recently!
